Case study - Refurbishment of factory

We have identified a project that serves as a reference site to potential customers. (Pictures on the right).

The aim of the project was to remove existing rust without sandblasting the metal, coat the sheeting with a rust converter and metal primer, and apply a top coat for maximum protection and durability.

In this project we performed the following tasks:

STEP ONE: Removal of surface rust, oil, greases and dust from sheeting using RostPrep rust remover and degreaser.

STEP TWO: Application of RostFort Standard rust converter to the sheeting. The RostFort Standard will convert any existing rust back to a stable iron oxide magnetite, leaving a protective coating that is resistant to water, UV, offers a high degree of abrasion resistance and will prolong the life of the sheeting.

STEP THREE: Application of a top coat of paint onto the sheeting. This could be any type top coat of pain.

Case study - Refurbishment of roof using the RostFort Silver

We have identified another project that serves as a reference site to potential customers. (Pictures on the right).

The aim of the project was to remove existing rust without sandblasting the metal, coat the sheeting with a rust converter, metal primer and a silver top all-in-one, to save time, reduce cost and increase the life of the asset.

In this project we performed the following tasks:

STEP ONE: Removal of surface rust, oil, greases and dust from sheeting using RostPrep rust remover and degreaser.

STEP TWO: Application of RostFort Silver rust converter to the sheeting. The RostFort Silver will convert any existing rust back to a stable iron oxide magnetite, leaving a silver protective coating that is resistant to water, UV, offers a high degree of abrasion resistance and will prolong the life of the sheeting.

With RostFort Silver and RostFort Black, it is not necessary to use a top coat.

The advantage of using an all-in-one rust converter and metal primer are:

  ο  Reduce cost by using one product for rust protection, metal primer and top coat

  ο  Save time by applying one coat

  ο  Extend the life of a valuable asset with minimal effort
